A simulation study for night asthmatic patients

Asthma is an allergic disorder. This disturbance manifests itself in repeated crises as a result of the narrowing and constriction of the respiratory tract. Crises are triggered by hypersensitivity to a particular substance due to breathing. Asthma is showed oneself by coughing, tightness in the chest, whistling in breathing and shortness of breath. Asthmatics need to be well aware of crisis triggers such as house dust, humidity, cold and dirty air, cigarettes, pollen, hairy animals, perfumes. In this regard, the incidence of asthma attacks can be reduced or prevented. It is very important for people with asthma who have night asthma that the ambient conditions are appropriate. Because the person is asleep, he/she cannot interfere the trigger factors of crisis. As a result, these people often wake up with wheezing and shortness of breath. The bedrooms of the night asthmatics should not be cold, the bedding materials must be free of dust, and the room must have a certain level of carbon dioxide and humidity. In this study, a simulation algorithm for night asthma patients was performed. This algorithm can be converted into software for arduino (a physical programming platform) and similar platforms. For this purpose, the temperature and humidity data of the bedroom can be processed by this algorithm, and the outputs necessary for optimum values for the patient are automatically produced. In this way, it will be ensured that the ambient temperature and humidity reaches the ideal level for night asthmatic patients.
